Loren Alberts and Linda Goller met through a mutual friend and enjoyed spending time together in all aspects of life for about five years. They took a two-week trip to Arizona soon after meeting, saw many new and wonderful things, and discovered how much they enjoyed traveling together. Several months later, they headed to Mardi Gras in New Orleans. On the way home, they spent a few days at Linda’s brother’s home, where he suggested they start a podcast channel. From that idea, they created a podcast about museums they visited as they traveled. The podcast is called “Where Am I To Go” and is named after a sea shanty song by Woods Tea Company.
Loren and Linda decided to develop a campground on a small piece of property that they wanted to do something with, thinking it would be fun to share their piece of the world with others, just as others had shared theirs with them as they traveled to various states and places. They patterned their campground after one they stayed at in Arizona with an open and inviting feeling. Their goal was to create the kind of campground that makes people feel welcome and like they have found a sense of home while on the road.
With the already-established name for the podcast, “Where Am I To Go” was also the perfect name for the campground. Their motto is, “The world is full of wonder, and have a wonder-filled day.”
Loren passed away in 2026, and his vision and enthusiasm remain an important part of “Where Am I To Go.” Linda continues to develop the campground and is honored to share this wonder-filled part of Wyoming with you.

In loving memory of Loren Alberts, whose heart and passion were to share the world and its many wonders through his vision and voice, inspiring kindred spirits to seek the adventure of a wonder-filled journey.
